Holes

Hole 1

To begin with, we present you with a Par 5 hole, not too long with a dogleg to the right.

With an exit onto a downhill fairway, you need to hit a straight shot, avoiding the olive trees on the right that await less well-aimed balls.

The more daring players may try to reach the green with their second shot, but we warn against hitting a blind shot over the hill by the bunkers.

Hole 2

It's a short hole, but don't think it's all plain sailing, as the green is small, with a bunker at the entrance on the right-hand side that you won't be able to see from the tee.

The two-tiered green makes it an interesting challenge for those who want to guarantee two putts.

Hole 3

It's a short hole, but don't think it's all plain sailing, as the green is small, with a bunker at the entrance on the right-hand side that you won't be able to see from the tee.

The two-tiered green makes it an interesting challenge for those who want to guarantee two putts.

Hole 4

In order to guarantee a privileged position on the tee shot, you must secure the ball on the platform about 100 metres from the green. The vegetation on the right will penalise shorter shots.

The approach to the green must be very careful, preferably with a high shot, as a less refined shot can increase your score. With its volcano-like appearance, you can easily find yourself in a real game of ping-pong.

Hole 5

Hole 6

It's a short hole, but don't think it's all plain sailing, as the green is small, with a bunker at the entrance on the right-hand side that you won't be able to see from the tee.

The two-tiered green makes it an interesting challenge for those who want to guarantee two putts.

Hole 7

This is the shortest hole on the course. If you miscalculate the distance, your ball will end up in the bunker. The task is more difficult if the flag is at the start of the green and the wind is against it.

We've recorded the highest number of hole-in-one's on this hole.

Hole 8

A straight hole with no major obstacles. The great difficulty is found on the green, as it has a considerable slope over its almost thirty metre length, and the position of the flag will depend a lot.

Hole 9

To finish the first round, a Par 3 of just over 100 metres awaits. With a bunker on the right, the best approach is always to the left, increasing the margin for error.

Don't forget to look good in front of the Club House.

Hole 10

As this is the 17th stroke, it's considered a fairly accessible hole. For a Par 4, it's possible to reach the green with a single shot, cancelling out the slight dogleg to the left, but then the risk increases with the Out of Bounds that accompanies the whole hole.

Hole 11

One of the most beautiful holes on the course, with views of the Serra do Marão and Aboboreira. With a slope of around 50 metres, the choice of iron is crucial.

Despite its distance, a very generous green awaits, being one of the largest on the course. Sometimes there's a wind that can put Fora de Limites in play.

Hole 12

This hole is a long way from the tee to the fairway, with a tee shot over the lake and Out of Bounds throughout.

The green is protected by two bunkers on the left that can't be seen from the fairway and some pine trees. The best approach to the green is from the right.

Hole 13

Certainly the most challenging Par 3 on the entire course. Not that the distance is a problem, but making sure the ball hits the green isn't always a certainty.

There's vegetation on the right and a hill on the left, which the bouncing ball can take it close to the Out of Bounds fence.

Hole 14

On this hole you have to pay attention to the tee shot so that it isn't too long. Next to the green is a small "valley" that can make it difficult to attack the green, which is short and quite undulating, making it the most demanding on the course.

Hole 15

This is a downhill hole, with Out of Bounds on the left and always close by.

A sizeable green awaits, but there's also a bunker on the right to receive the missed balls.

Hole 16

You won't find any major difficulties on this par 4 course, apart from its length, which makes it the hole with Stroke 1.

The green is slightly elevated, protected by a bunker on the right and a slope on the left.

Hole 17

A shot to a green that's at a lower level, but in front of it is a lake that can be attractive at times... With a headwind, which is the most common, the task becomes much more demanding.

The green is very treacherous due to its undulation, so to secure par without any problems you have to place the ball on the right platform.

Hole 18

The last hole is a relatively easy Par 5, even though it's uphill. You'll have to prove your fitness here.

The green itself isn't very easy, as it's a little undulating, one of the main characteristics of the course.

If the flag is at the entrance to the green, avoid going long so you don't hit a tricky shot.
